ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂਜੀਕਾਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ॥ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂਜੀਕੀਫ਼ਤਹਿ॥
To support and pray (ardas) for the spiritual uplifting and increase of physical strength for Bhai Gurbaksh Singh, Bradford Sangat are joining tomorrow (25th of December) for a day long endeavour:
AIM: to engross ourselves in Asa divar, Simran, keertan and Gurbani jaap.
PURPOSE: for our collective hearts and souls to join together to help strengthen Bhai Sahib through the help of Guroo Sahib.
METHOD: By joining his pain for a short period and attempting to refrain from food for 12 hours whilst focusing our minds on Guroojee's Baani & Naam. To beg for chardikla for him & the rest of the Panth
LOCATION; Guru Nanak Gurdwara Sahib, Wakefield Rd, Bradford
STARTING with Chaupai Sahib and Ardas before Asa Di Var - at 7am Sharp!

SCHEDULE:
7am-7.30am: Simran - Benti Chaupai - Ardas & Hukamnama
(Starting the day by tuning our minds and asking for blessings from God for the start of the program)

7.30-10am: Asa Di Var Keertan
(A very uplifting, soul-stirring and inspiring Baani - that Guru Sahib even stopped Gursikhs going to battle for until this was sung in keetan form)

10-11: Benti Chaupai - Gurbani Jaap in sangat
(Benti Chaupai is such a powerful rendition of prayer taking the form of seeking blessings and protection from God. This bani and others to be recited with all sangat reciting)

11-12pm: Keertan
(Singing shabads that ask Guru Sahib for bakshish and blessings)

12pm-3pm: Alone time /Self reflection
(A chance to find a quiet corner and pray. Also giving a chance to anyone needing to attend to home/chores.)

3pm-4pm: Simran - Keertan - Chaupai Sahib
(We come together again to Sing the Out of This World words of Gurbani)

4pm-5.30pm: Vichar on how Miri and Piri concept applies in today's world
(Vichar means discussion. An opportunity for all to share their feelings on what has been going on lately in the panth)

5.30 - 6.15pm: Keertan & Simran
(Time to retune our minds again as we rap up the evening)
6.15 - 6.45pm: Rehras Sahib
(Evening prayers sung together)
6.45 - 7pm: Ardas & Hukamnama

The sangat plan to close the day together with hands folded and stood in concentration before Guroo Sahib, begging him once more to accept out heart-felt prayers for the Singh for who we gathered, the families affected for which his cause had ensued, and for all of us as worldwide Sikh collective (Panth).
Photos to follow.
